Does getting all A's really matter when trying to get into dental school?

I am currently in my 2nd semester of college and by Fall of '10 I should be a general science graduate transferring to LSU school of dentistry. I am going to be a dentist hygiene and I was wondering, will I still get accepted if I made B's in college? I know people going to college for positions in medical fields such as nurses and pediatricians. When they get C's, they retake the college course all over again... just to make an A. Is this really necessary? Thanks for all & any advice.
