How do you find the surface area of a triangular prism?

Simple. Isn't it obvious that you simply sum the area of each face? Since you do not say how many faces or specify any measurements, there is NO way to do the actual calculation. A triangular prism could be a simple pyramid with 4 triangle shaped faces or it could simply have a triangle shaped cross-section with complicated curved faces. "Triangular prism" is an ambiguous term. Add the area of each individual face to find the total surface area.
