Is COMPETITION (capitalism) or COOPERATION (communalism) more compatible with Christianity?

There are elements of both competition and cooperation in both capitalism and communalism. However, having said that, I think the ideal situation would be a perfect communal society in which individual freedoms were respected. However, since we don't yet live in that ideal world, capitalism is the best realistic alternative.
