Sims 2 short video help!?!?

You know how when you, get abducted, get married, prupose, have a baby, and woo hoo it shows this little short video? Well, my short vidoes never play and it is just a normal woo hoo with no music or anything. Why won't it do it? It works but it won't do it for THIS FAMILY!!!!
