Is it okay for a man to have pierced ears while working in an office?

A university environment is a good place to try out new ideas, so I see nothing wrong with you wearing earrings in your office, particularly since you are a student istant. Completely aside from the question of you wearing earrings, if there is tension between you and your boss you may want to look for a different position for the next semester. Many students change jobs frequently because they have to work their job around their cl schedule. After you graduate and have a full time position, you may or may not be OK wearing earrings in the office or wherever you are working. If you wear earrings all the time until you graduate your piercing holes will have healed enough that you can safely go without earrings for a few days without having your holes close up on you.
